Family Photoshoots

I believe the last few years have proved to us how important family is. How important it is to have family around, spend time with them and remember them. Family is precious and so is the time we have with each other.

There are so many reasons why a family photoshoot is so important, but here are just a few:
Document growth – kids grow up so quickly. One moment they snuggle in our arms the next they walk down the aisle. So much happens in-between and it is special and important to document these events. Children will feel connected to their lives and family members when seeing how they fit into the family and how they all grow up.

Life happens – as so many of us know, life is incredibly unpredictable and we just don’t know when the next time will be to be together, let along taking photos. So make photoshoots a priority, either a specific time or as many special occasions as possible.

Connection and memories – we feel connected when we can see the photos of the ones that came before us and can reminisce when together over photographs taken long ago. We remember happy times, loved ones long gone, moments treasured. Memories start as photos for parents of their children, then becomes memories of parents for the children.

Feeling loved – it has been proven that children who sees family photos in the home feels loved and part of the family. It increases their self-esteem and happiness.

All together – this one is to the moms, who are always behind the camera, capturing moments, but never in them. This is so important for the entire family to be captured in the same image.
